Substituents in JME

Substituent menu in JME

In cooperation with JME author Peter Ertl we added a new substituent menu to the JME Molecular Editor. This option allows fast and convenient creation of common organic substituents.

Select simply a substituent from the menu and click atom in the JME drawing area to which substituent should be added.

The substituent menu is still in beta version. Be so kind and report problems to . Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions related to structure drawing with JME. We would highly appreciate also your suggestions which other substituents should be added to the menu.
